Semua orang ada link sekarang
TikTok Shop affiliate link memang dah jadi part of internet furniture.
Scroll FYP sikit, ada girl tunjuk lip tint. Scroll lagi, ada blender murah. Scroll lagi, ada tote bag yang katanya "quality dia gila for the price". Semua ada yellow basket. Semua ada code. Semua urgent macam sale tu nak lari naik MRT.
And honestly? Not always bad.
Creator pun kerja. Kalau dia spend duit beli product, test, record, edit, jawab komen, then earn commission bila orang beli — fair. Kita bukan anti-rezeki dekat sini.
Kadang affiliate link memang useful. Senang nak cari barang. Harga lagi okay. Ada voucher. Ada free shipping. Girl math terus masuk meeting and approve.
Tapi masalah mula bila every single benda tiba-tiba jadi "must-have".
Bila review semua bunyi macam ad
Ada beza antara "I like this" dengan "bestie you NEED this or your life incomplete".
One sounds macam honest sharing. One sounds macam sales script kena kejar KPI.
Affiliate culture jadi penat bila creator recommend everything with same energy. Foundation oxidise pun holy grail. Lip gloss melekit pun "so comfortable". Beg zip sangkut pun "premium feel". Babe, premium dekat mana? Dekat imagination?
Audience sekarang bukan blur. Girls boleh smell bila vibe berubah.
Dulu creator tu macam kakak internet. Sekarang setiap video macam promoter dekat mall yang follow kau sampai escalator.
Trust koyak bukan sebab affiliate link wujud. Trust koyak sebab opinion nampak macam boleh dibeli RM2.40 commission.
Disclosure bukan vibe killer
Some creators takut nak cakap "affiliate link" sebab nanti orang rasa kena jual.
But honestly, disclosure lagi classy.
Cakap je: "Kalau korang beli through link ni, I dapat commission." Simple. Mature. No drama. Kalau product memang good, orang still beli.
Yang buat orang annoyed is pretending macam kau share sebab love sangat, padahal every sentence ada sales funnel hiding behind lip liner.
Transparency tak bunuh conversion. Dia jaga relationship.
And for brands, please lah. Jangan paksa creator claim benda pelik. Jangan suruh cakap serum ni ubah hidup dalam 3 hari kalau kulit dia baru pakai semalam. Internet ada screenshot. Karma ada WiFi.
Buyers pun kena ada otak sikit
Tapi kita as audience pun jangan outsource brain dekat FYP.
Before checkout, pause. Kau nak barang tu or kau nak rasa macam girl dalam video tu? Kau perlu lip tint baru or kau cuma bosan malam Friday? Kau beli sebab deal best or sebab countdown timer buat kau panic?
Check komen. Check rating rendah. Check video creator lain yang bukan semua benda five stars. Kalau product nampak too good to be true, maybe sebab dia memang edited under ring light and delusion.
Affiliate link is not enemy.
Impulse checkout at 1:47AM while emotionally fragile? Itu enemy with free shipping.
Creator yang bagus still boleh win
The best affiliate creators bukan yang jual semua benda.
They curate. They say no. They admit kalau shade tak ngam, fabric nipis, scent terlalu manis, or product only works for certain skin type. That honesty makes the link stronger.
Because bila dia finally say "this one worth it", audience percaya.
That is the real bag.
Not just commission. Reputation.
The verdict
Affiliate link can be cute. It can help creators earn, help girls find deals, and make shopping less pening.
But kalau every opinion ada price tag, the whole FYP jadi pasar malam with ring light.
So creators, disclose. Brands, jangan control sampai review jadi hostage video. Buyers, jangan checkout sebab panic.
Girl math is fun.
But trust math lagi penting.
Kalau semua benda "must-have", then nothing is.
