Beauty event etiquette: content day ke semua orang block booth?

Team SisPilih2026-05-23

Beauty event memang cute — free lip gloss, cute backdrop, jumpa creator lain. Tapi kalau booth jadi traffic jam sebab semua orang nak shoot 47 angle, networking terus berubah jadi obstacle course.

Beauty event etiquette: content day ke semua orang block booth?

Beauty event sekarang bukan event je

Beauty event sekarang ada satu aura pelik tapi addictive.

Kau masuk mall, nampak brand setup cantik gila. Pastel booth, mirror selfie corner, drinks yang warna dia lagi photogenic daripada rasa, produk tersusun macam shrine, semua orang pakai outfit yang nampak “I woke up like this” padahal confirm dah plan dari malam tadi.

Honestly? Best.

For creators, event macam ni bukan sekadar datang ambil free stuff. It is networking. Jumpa PR team. Kenal creator lain. Tengok product launch dulu sebelum orang lain. Kumpul content untuk TikTok, IG story, maybe carousel kalau rajin.

Tapi bestie, somewhere between “ambil content” and “aku nak perfect shot”, event etiquette hilang macam lip balm dekat handbag.

Content day boleh, block booth jangan

Kita faham. Kalau brand invite, of course kau kena create. Booth memang dibuat cantik sebab brand pun nak orang post. Nobody is asking you to datang, duduk diam, minum mocktail, balik.

Shoot lah.

Ambil product close-up. Ambil OOTD. Ambil reaction. Ambil “come with me to a beauty event” yang ada transition rambut flip tu. Cute.

Tapi kalau kau conquer satu display table selama 18 minit while other girls tunggu tepi macam line nak renew passport, itu dah bukan content creation. Itu territorial behaviour.

Ada orang nak try shade. Ada PR team nak explain product. Ada creator kecil yang nervous nak ambil satu shot je. Bila booth jadi private studio kau, vibe event terus jadi awkward.

SisPilih rule: get the shot, then move. Kalau tak jadi, pusing balik nanti. Jangan buat semua orang live inside your reshoot cycle.

Networking bukan collect contacts macam Pokémon

Satu lagi: networking dekat beauty event tak semestinya kena aggressively exchange IG handle dengan semua manusia yang pegang tote bag.

Sometimes networking is just sembang normal.

“Eh lipstick tu nice gila shade apa?”

“Kau datang from TikTok ke IG?”

“Lighting dekat corner sana lagi okay, pergi shoot cepat.”

That is already relationship building. Soft. Human. Tak perlu masuk mode LinkedIn dengan lip gloss.

Yang tak best bila orang approach semata-mata nak naik follower, then terus hilang bila nampak kau bukan “big creator”. Girl, energy tu orang boleh bau. Beauty community kecil je. Hari ni kau ignore micro creator, esok dia mungkin campaign lead. Life suka buat plot twist.

Brand pun kena design flow, not just backdrop

To be fair, bukan semua salah creator.

Some events memang cantik tapi layout dia macam maze Shopee warehouse. Satu hero booth, satu mirror, satu lighting spot, then semua orang berebut sebab there is nowhere else to shoot.

If brand wants content, brand kena plan movement. Multiple photo corners. Clear product trial area. Staff yang boleh guide. Enough samples. Space untuk people breathe. Kalau invite 80 creators tapi booth muat 12 orang, jangan terkejut bila content day jadi pasar malam premium.

Cute backdrop is not event strategy. It is one wall.

Pretty event, prettier manners

SisPilih verdict: beauty event boleh jadi very fun. It is where creator economy meets girlhood meets free mini mascara. Memang kita support.

Tapi etiquette matters.

Take your shot. Say thank you. Jangan campak produk lepas unboxing. Jangan block booth macam kau bayar rent. Jangan treat smaller creators like background extras. And brands, please design event for real human traffic, not just one hero Reel.

Because the best content from an event is not always the most perfect shot.

Sometimes it is the vibe.

And kalau vibe tu semua orang stressed tunggu kau redo OOTD sebab hair strand tak behave?

Bestie, that is not luxury launch.

That is traffic jam with lip gloss.
