Coffee bukan breakfast, bestie

Monday pagi ada satu delusion yang selalu nampak productive.

Bangun lambat sikit. Shower laju. Makeup basic. Grab bag. Then cakap, “Takpe lah, I’ll just drink coffee.”

Coffee tu sedap, yes. Coffee tu emotional support, also yes.

Tapi coffee alone as breakfast? Babe, itu bukan clean girl discipline. Itu body kau tengah buka file complaint.

Pukul 9 kau rasa fine. Pukul 10 kau mula rasa kosong. Pukul 11, suddenly semua orang annoying, email nampak personal, lecturer punya voice macam drill, and kau rasa nak makan satu bakery.

Itu bukan personality issue. Kadang kau cuma lapar.

Skip breakfast selalu menyamar jadi control

Kita suka pretend skip breakfast ni efficient.

Kalau discipline tu buat kau shaky, moody, and balas WhatsApp macam kau tengah berperang, maybe itu bukan discipline. Itu under-fuelled main character syndrome.

Malaysia morning memang tak gentle

Pagi dekat sini bukan soft montage.

Panas. LRT penuh. Parking jauh. Class start awal. Office aircond pula tiba-tiba Arctic. Kau jalan dari Grab drop-off sampai lift pun dah rasa macam body kena load 40 tab.

Then kau expect diri survive atas iced kopi and vibes?

Girl, even phone kau perlukan charger.

Breakfast tak perlu jadi Pinterest. Tak payah avocado toast yang harga macam skincare serum. Tak payah overnight oats dalam jar aesthetic kalau kau tak suka oats.

Makan roti. Pisang. Telur. Yogurt. Pau. Biskut emergency. Nasi lemak half portion kalau itu yang make sense. Leftover dinner pun boleh kalau sedap.

The point bukan jadi wellness influencer. The point ialah bagi badan kau something before dia start buat drama.

Kopi first boleh, kopi only tu masalah

Hot take: kopi pagi bukan villain.

Kadang kopi memang ritual. Bau dia, cup sejuk dekat tangan, first sip sebelum buka laptop — okay, cute. Kita faham.

Masalah dia bila kopi jadi pengganti makan, tidur, water, and emotional stability.

Kalau kau minum kopi perut kosong and terus rasa anxious, heart race, or perut macam buat remix, maybe listen lah sikit. Body kau bukan hater. Dia cuma bagi review jujur.

Try pairing coffee dengan benda kecil. Roti bakar. Crackers. Banana. Anything yang tak memerlukan 25 minit prep and mental strength.

Mini breakfast still counts. Girl math, but useful.

Jangan jadikan lapar sebagai aesthetic

Internet suka sangat romanticise “busy girl” yang jalan laju dengan iced coffee, slick bun, tote bag, and no time to eat.

Looks chic on camera. In real life, dia boleh jadi migraine, gastric, bad mood, and checkout Shopee snack pukul 12 malam sebab badan dendam.

Kau tak perlu earn food by being productive dulu.

Kau boleh makan sebelum kau reply email. Kau boleh makan sebelum kau jadi useful. Kau boleh makan walaupun hari tu tak ada workout, tak ada meeting penting, tak ada reason special.

Makan bukan reward. Makan basic maintenance.

SisPilih verdict: skip breakfast sekali-sekala bukan end of the world. Life happens. Alarm betray. Bread habis. Mood tak masuk.

But kalau every Monday kau start dengan empty stomach and call it discipline, bestie, audit sikit.
