Double cleanse malam-malam boleh jadi skin reset yang cun, tapi kalau kau gosok muka macam cuci kuali sebab takut sunscreen, skin barrier pun boleh merajuk.

Then pukul 10 malam kau berdiri depan sink, tengok cleansing balm, and rasa macam skincare routine ni bukan routine.

Ini kerja pembersihan crime scene.

Double cleanse suddenly jadi ritual. First cleanse untuk dissolve sunscreen and makeup. Second cleanse untuk rasa macam kau buang semua decision buruk hari tu.

Cute? Yes.

Tapi bestie, jangan sampai muka kau jadi mangsa sebab kau takut sunscreen berdendam dalam pore.

Double cleanse bukan hukuman

Double cleanse ni actually simple.

Oil cleanser, cleansing balm, atau micellar water dulu. Lepas tu gentle cleanser.

Itu je.

Bukan scrub sampai pipi squeaky. Bukan gosok cotton pad sampai kulit merah macam traffic light Federal Highway. Bukan wash face tiga kali sebab kau rasa “tak cukup bersih”.

Skincare TikTok selalu buat benda nampak complicated sebab content perlu drama. Real skin usually suka boring.

Boring cleanser. Boring moisturiser. Boring consistency.

Annoying, but true.

Kalau terlalu penat, buat minimum viable clean

Ada malam kau balik lambat, badan dah shutdown, and sink nampak macam terlalu jauh walaupun dia depan mata.

Fine. Kita realistic.

Minimum viable clean: remove sunscreen/makeup dulu. Micellar water or balm. Rinse. If ada tenaga, gentle cleanser. Moisturiser. Sleep.

Tak perlu 12 step redemption arc pukul 10:47 malam.

Yang penting jangan tidur dengan full face kalau kau boleh elak. Sebab pagi esok, pimple patch kau yang kena overtime.

But also, jangan punish kulit esok dengan acids, scrub, mask, and panic serum sebab satu malam rasa oily.

Skin bukan marah sebab kau manusia. Skin cuma nak kau jangan dramatic sangat.
